Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about Drive Parts Network's national vehicle parts infrastructure.

General Questions

Drive Parts Network serves rental operators, independent and mobile repair facilities, collision centers, dealerships, commercial and municipal fleets, government fleets, consumers, and ecosystem partners that need reliable access to multiple parts channels.

Yes. DrivePartsNetwork offers fleet pricing programs for operators managing multiple vehicles. Volume-based pricing structures are available for fleet operators, rental businesses, service centers, and commercial fleets. Contact our procurement team at (800) 555-1234 to discuss your fleet's specific requirements and establish a fleet account.

When you source parts independently, you are managing multiple supplier relationships, comparing inconsistent quality descriptions, and spending operational time on procurement administration. DrivePartsNetwork consolidates that process — we search our network of 2,500+ verified suppliers, present curated options across all supply tiers, and coordinate fulfillment. The result is faster procurement, lower administrative overhead, and more time focused on operations.

We cover virtually all makes and models — domestic, import, luxury, and commercial vehicles. This includes cars, trucks, SUVs, vans, and light commercial vehicles across all model years. Fleet operators with mixed-make fleets are well-served by our nationwide supplier network.

Yes — all 50 states. Our supplier network spans the entire country, ensuring geographic coverage that matches the operational footprint of national fleet operators and regional service businesses.

The National Sourcing Process

Most procurement requests receive a response within 24 hours during business days (Monday–Friday, 8am–7pm EST; Saturday 9am–4pm EST). Our team prioritizes requests based on operational urgency — if you have a vehicle out of service, communicate that priority and we will escalate accordingly.

Absolutely. DrivePartsNetwork is designed to handle procurement at scale. Fleet operators can submit multiple vehicle requests simultaneously, and our procurement team will consolidate sourcing to maximize efficiency and pricing leverage across your entire order.

At minimum, we need the vehicle year, make, model, and the specific part required. Additional details — trim level, engine size, VIN, condition preference, and quantity — improve sourcing precision. Fleet accounts can also provide fleet account numbers for streamlined processing.

Your request is routed to our procurement team, who immediately begin searching our supplier network. Within 24 hours, a procurement specialist will contact you with sourcing options — including pricing tiers, condition details, supplier location, and estimated fulfillment timelines. Fleet pricing is applied where applicable.

Yes. Call us directly at (800) 555-1234 during business hours to speak with a procurement specialist immediately. This is often the preferred channel for urgent fleet needs, complex part descriptions, or establishing a fleet account.

Parts & Supply Tiers

DrivePartsNetwork sources across all supply tiers: OEM parts (original equipment from dealerships and authorized distributors), aftermarket parts (quality alternatives from reputable manufacturers), recycled parts (OEM parts recovered from salvage vehicles through licensed recyclers), and remanufactured parts (factory-rebuilt to OEM specifications). We present options across all tiers so your procurement team can optimize for cost, quality, or speed on each order.

Our supplier vetting process includes reviewing business licensing, verifying inventory management practices, evaluating customer feedback and performance history, and conducting direct relationship-building with key suppliers. Suppliers who do not meet our quality and reliability standards are removed from the network. We hold our suppliers accountable so you don't have to.

Warranty coverage varies by part type and supplier. Remanufactured parts typically include manufacturer warranties. Recycled parts may include limited warranties from the salvage operation. OEM and aftermarket parts vary by source. Our procurement specialists will clearly communicate warranty terms for any part presented before a commitment is made.

Fulfillment & Delivery

Yes. We coordinate fulfillment directly to your facility, service center, or installation partner. Our logistics coordination reduces the administrative burden on your team and ensures parts arrive where they are needed, when they are needed.

Fulfillment timelines vary based on supplier location, part type, and destination. Most parts are delivered within 3–7 business days. Large or heavy components such as engines and transmissions may require freight shipping with slightly longer lead times. Estimated delivery windows are provided at the time of sourcing options.

In many cases, yes. If a supplier in proximity to your operation has the required part, we can arrange local pickup. This is often faster and reduces freight costs for larger components — a practical option for fleet operators with multiple facilities.
